Key Features
What sets the Toro 51619 Ultra Electric Blower Vac apart from other yard tools? Let’s break down its key features.
Powerful Performance
One of the standout features of this product is its powerful performance. It can reach speeds of up to 250 mph, allowing you to tackle even the most stubborn debris. Whether you’re dealing with wet leaves, twigs, or other yard waste, the Toro 51619 has enough power to get the job done efficiently.
Enhanced Mulching Capability
The new larger metal impeller drives greater power and improved mulching capabilities. This feature ensures that leaves and debris are finely chopped, making disposal easier and reducing the number of bags you need.
Variable Speed Control
Having variable speed control is a huge plus. This allows you to adjust the speed according to the task at hand. For delicate areas or tight corners, a lower speed can be used to ensure precision without causing damage.
Included Accessories
The Toro 51619 comes with a range of accessories that enhance its functionality. It includes a vacuum tube, a bottom-zip bag, a power insert, a concentrator nozzle, and a cord storage hook. However, it’s good to note that an extension cord is not included with the purchase.
Using the Toro 51619
Understanding how to get the most out of your Toro 51619 can make yard work a breeze. Here’s how you can utilize its features effectively.
Switching Between Blowing and Vacuum Modes
The ability to switch between blowing and vacuum modes is a significant advantage. In blowing mode, you can easily gather leaves and debris into a manageable pile. Once you’ve done that, switch to vacuum mode to collect the debris into the bottom-zip bag. The switchover is smooth and doesn’t require any complicated steps.
Utilizing the Variable Speed Control
The variable speed control allows you to choose different speeds depending on the task. For instance, if you’re in a densely populated area with plants, a lower speed can help you clean without disturbing the surroundings. On the other hand, maximum speed is ideal for larger, open areas where you need to move a large amount of leaves or debris quickly.
Comparing CFM in Different Modes
Another important aspect of this product is its air CFM in different modes. The Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) rating indicates the volume of air moved by the blower.
Blower Mode
In blower mode, the Toro 51619 offers an impressive 350 CFM. This ensures that a significant amount of air is moved, effectively pushing leaves and debris into piles without much effort on your part.
Vacuum Mode
In vacuum mode, the air volume increases to 410 CFM. This higher rating is crucial for efficiently sucking up leaves and debris into the vacuum bag. The seamless transition between modes ensures you get the power you need whether you’re blowing or vacuuming.
Practical Tips for Usage
While the Toro 51619 Ultra Electric Blower Vac is user-friendly, a few practical tips can help you maximize its efficiency.
Handling Wet Leaves
Remove wet leaves by switching to the highest speed setting. The combination of high speed and the powerful impeller can handle the additional weight and stickiness of wet leaves.
Storing the Blower Vac
Proper storage is essential for maintaining the longevity of your blower vac. Utilize the included cord storage hook to keep the cord organized. Store it in a dry place to avoid any moisture damage.
